If you live in the LA area, you probably already know about Fashionphile, they have a boutique at 9551 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills (as well as online) with hundreds of preowned designer bags. It is so much fun going through all the bags in there, especially the vintage pieces that you either reminisce about or surprised that you've never seen. It is one of my favorite things to do with a girlfriend on a shopping trip (even more fun after lunch and a cold glass of pinot grigio!). If you cannot wait, this is the place to go for an unquestionably authentic Birkin or Kelly. Most are in mint condition. The blue jean 30 togo in the picture above is $7995 - if you shop online, there are detailed pictures of every part of the bag. You will also find limited edition bags that is impossible to find anywhere else, like the Chanel Paris in NY Woman Handbag Tote ($2150) from the 2006 Fall collection that is brand new, the price tag is still on it! They also offer a consignment service for people who want to sell their bags. Last year's favorite bag can either continue to collect dust or it can help pay for your latest must have =)

I have been wanting to buy a simple sewing machine for a while now because my vintage sewing machine is just too old to fix. Last weekend, I found a perfectly good working Brother sewing machine for only $20.00 Actually, bargain hunter as I am, I asked if I could buy it for $15 and the lady said yes!

Yesterday, my kids received their Pikachu from a wonderful Etsy shop and a very very nice Etsy shopkeeper, Kelley The Little Elf.
The were both so excited to open the amazing package!
My younger son promptly made his new Pikachu a pouch (my mother-in-law happened to be around to teach us how to sew in our new-old sewing machine). We call it Pikachu's Pika-pouch!

After a few days working with Twitter and all the tools available, I have come up with these conclusions:
The best tools to use and steps to take are:
1. twitseeker - to find specific people according to tweets or profile
2. huitter - to automatically follow and unfollow
3. Timothy Adam's channel - to follow who he is following, 3 pages at a time.
4. To automatically follow those who are following you: buzzom.com.
This is very useful because after following a bunch of people, you will get a ginormous amount of emails and if you do not want to click on each one individually, you can automate following.
I personally click on each one when I have a chance because I am truly interested in these people's websites!
I just used twitseeker to follow "Jacksonville, Fl." Used huitter to unfollow those who are not following and went to Tim Adam's twitter page.
My favorite tools? huitter and buzzom.
